Start your privacy fence request

The form below takes a couple of minutes. Tell us where the property is, roughly how much fence you have in mind and what you want it to block, and the details go to a residential fence contractor working in Washtenaw County. A few clear photos of the yard help more than a long description.

What makes a request easy to answer

You do not need measurements down to the inch. A contractor will walk the line anyway. What helps is enough detail to know what kind of visit to plan:

  • The street address, so the lot, the town and its zoning rules are clear from the start.
  • A rough run length, even if it is just paced off along the back of the yard.
  • Whether you lean toward wood, vinyl or composite, or still want to talk it through.
  • How many gates you need and whether a mower, trailer or boat has to fit through one.
  • Photos of the slope, any old fence coming out, and trees growing close to the line.
  • Anything driving the timing: a new pool, a new dog, or an association review date.

What happens after you hit send

  1. Your request reaches a fence contractor who covers your part of the county.
  2. That contractor gets in touch to ask questions and set up a time to see the property.
  3. At the visit they look at grade, soil, survey pins, utilities and access for equipment.
  4. You receive a written proposal covering material, height, gates, posts and the scope of the work.

Schedules shift with the season, and spring tends to book up as soon as the ground thaws, so the contractor will tell you directly what timing looks like for your job. Late fall requests are welcome too; a winter of planning can put you near the front of the line once the frost leaves the ground.

Who you are reaching

Ann Arbor Privacy Fence is a referral site, not a fence company. It passes your request to an independent contractor who prices and builds the work. If you want background before you write, the fence services pages explain materials and repairs, and the community pages cover local lots.
